The Aafiyah Project is a 501 (c) (3) health & wellness organization established to help disrupt health disparities experienced by minorities in the Washington DC metropolitan area, and begin to build a legacy of health and wellness in the community.

Creating empowered communities that foster a legacy of health and wellness for lifelong success.
MISSION
To address health disparities in underserved communities in Prince George's County and the wider DMV area through health promotion, community engagement, and scholastic achievement.

Our core values emphasize Service, Equity, Respect, Vision, Integrity, Collaboration, and Empowerment. Together, these principles guide our commitment to fairness, inclusivity, innovation, and the empowerment of individuals and communities to achieve lasting health and wellness.
Our health promotion programs include mental health, maternal & child health, and community engagement in healthy lifestyle activities. Our scholastic programs serve students in the community by virtue of our out-of-school clubs, summer camps, and STEM enrichment program partnerships.
This promotion of health & wellness will be carried out using evidence-based public health practices, innovative mentoring, and organizational governance that reflect Islamic values and principles.
